Йоулупукки
Йоулупукки, also known as Joulupukki, is the traditional Finnish Santa Claus figure. He is often depicted as a jolly old man with a long beard, dressed in a red suit. According to Finnish folklore, Йоулупукки lives in Lapland, where he prepares for Christmas by making toys and gifts for children.
In Finland, Йоулупукки is said to visit homes on Christmas Eve, delivering presents to well-behaved children. Unlike the Western Santa Claus, he is believed to enter homes through the front door rather than the chimney. This unique tradition highlights the importance of family and togetherness during the holiday season.
