Joulupukki
Joulupukki is the traditional Finnish figure associated with Christmas, often referred to as "Santa Claus." He is depicted as a kind, elderly man with a long white beard, dressed in a red suit. Joulupukki is known for delivering gifts to children on Christmas Eve, traveling in a sleigh pulled by reindeer.
Unlike the more commercialized versions of Santa, Joulupukki has roots in ancient Finnish folklore. His name translates to "Yule Goat," and he was originally believed to be a goat-like creature that brought gifts. Today, he resides in Rovaniemi, Finland, where visitors can meet him in his village.
