χατζ
The term "χατζ" (pronounced "haj") refers to a person who has completed the pilgrimage to Mecca, known as the Hajj. This pilgrimage is one of the Five Pillars of Islam and is a religious duty for Muslims who are physically and financially able to undertake it at least once in their lifetime.
Completing the Hajj is a significant spiritual achievement, and those who have done so are often honored with the title "Hajji" or "Hajjah" for women. The pilgrimage occurs annually during the Islamic month of Dhu al-Hijjah and involves various rituals, including standing at Arafat and performing the Tawaf around the Kaaba.
