συγκοπή (Fainting)
Συγκοπή, commonly known as fainting, is a temporary loss of consciousness that occurs when the brain does not receive enough blood flow. This can happen due to various reasons, including low blood pressure, dehydration, or sudden emotional stress. Symptoms often include dizziness, weakness, and blurred vision before the fainting episode.
During a fainting spell, the person usually recovers quickly once they are lying down and blood flow to the brain is restored. While most fainting episodes are not serious, frequent occurrences may indicate an underlying health issue that requires medical attention.
