Μόκσα (Liberation)
Μόκσα (Liberation) is a key concept in Hindu philosophy, representing the release from the cycle of birth, death, and rebirth, known as samsara. It signifies the ultimate goal of human existence, where the soul achieves unity with the divine, often associated with Brahman, the ultimate reality.
In various spiritual traditions, including Buddhism and Jainism, the idea of liberation also plays a significant role. Each tradition offers different paths and practices, such as meditation, ethical living, and self-realization, to attain this state of freedom and enlightenment, freeing the individual from worldly attachments and suffering.
