Λάχεσις
Λάχεσις, or Lachesis, is one of the three Moirai, or Fates, in Greek mythology. She is responsible for measuring the thread of life, determining how long each person will live. Her role emphasizes the inevitability of fate and the limits of human control over destiny.
In addition to measuring life, Λάχεσις also weaves the thread, symbolizing the interconnectedness of all lives. The Moirai, including Clotho and Atropos, work together to ensure that every individual's life has a predetermined length and purpose, reflecting the ancient Greek belief in the power of fate over free will.
