Ααρών
Ααρών, or Aaron, is a significant figure in the religious texts of Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. He is known as the elder brother of Μωυσής (Moses) and served as the first high priest of the Ισραηλίτες (Israelites). Aaron played a crucial role in the Exodus story, assisting Moses in leading the Israelites out of Αίγυπτος (Egypt) and into the wilderness.
In the Βίβλος (Bible), Aaron is often associated with the establishment of the priesthood and the rituals of worship. His lineage, the Ααρωνίτες (Aaronites), became the priestly class in ancient Israel, responsible for performing sacrifices and maintaining the Ναός (Temple). Aaron's legacy continues to influence religious practices and beliefs today.
