Ögedei Khan
Ögedei Khan was the third son of Genghis Khan and the second Great Khan of the Mongol Empire. He ruled from 1229 until his death in 1241, continuing his father's legacy of expansion and unification of the Mongol tribes. Under his leadership, the empire expanded significantly, including successful campaigns in China and Eastern Europe.
Ögedei is also known for establishing the administrative framework of the Mongol Empire, which helped manage its vast territories. He promoted trade and communication across the empire, fostering cultural exchanges. His reign marked a period of relative stability and prosperity for the Mongols.
