{Seven Years' War
The Seven Years' War (1756-1763) was a global conflict involving many of the great powers of the time. It is often considered the first "world war" as it spanned across Europe, North America, the Caribbean, West Africa, India, and the Philippines. The war primarily pitted Great Britain and its allies against France and its allies, with battles fought on multiple continents.
The war resulted in significant territorial changes, particularly in North America, where Great Britain gained control of Canada and Florida, while France ceded Louisiana to Spain. The conflict also set the stage for future tensions, contributing to the financial strain that led to the American Revolution.
