斗兽场, known as the Colosseum in English, is an ancient amphitheater located in Rome, Italy. Built between 70-80 AD, it was used for various public spectacles, including gladiatorial contests, animal hunts, and mock sea battles. The structure could hold up to 80,000 spectators and is an iconic symbol of Roman engineering and architecture. The Colosseum is an elliptical structure made of concrete and stone, featuring a complex system of vaults. It stands approximately 50 meters tall and measures 189 meters long and 156 meters wide.
