ラファエロ, or Raphael, was an Italian painter and architect of the High Renaissance, born in 1483 in Urbino. He is renowned for his beautiful and harmonious compositions, particularly in his frescoes, such as those in the Vatican's ラファエロの間 (Raphael Rooms). His work often features serene expressions and balanced proportions, showcasing his mastery of perspective and color. Raphael's most famous pieces include the システィーナの聖母 (Sistine Madonna) and the アテネの学堂 (School of Athens), which highlight his ability to blend classical themes with Christian subjects. He passed away in 1520, leaving a lasting legacy that influenced generations of artists.
