{ダライ・ラマ
ダライ・ラマ is the title given to the spiritual leader of Tibetan Buddhism. The current ダライ・ラマ, Tenzin Gyatso, was born on July 6, 1935, and became the 14th holder of this title at the age of two. He is recognized for his teachings on compassion, non-violence, and the importance of understanding different cultures.
In 1959, following the Chinese invasion of Tibet, the ダライ・ラマ fled to India, where he established a government-in-exile. He has since worked to promote the Tibetan cause and has received numerous awards, including the ノーベル平和賞 in 1989 for his efforts in advocating for peace and human rights.
