the Son
The Son refers to Jesus Christ in Christian theology, believed to be the second person of the Holy Trinity, which includes God the Father and the Holy Spirit. Christians believe that Jesus was both fully divine and fully human, born to the Virgin Mary. His life and teachings are documented in the New Testament of the Bible.
In addition to his role as a teacher and healer, the Son is central to the belief in salvation. Christians hold that through his crucifixion and resurrection, he provided a path for humanity to reconcile with God and attain eternal life.
