telefon
A telefon is a device that allows people to communicate over long distances using electrical signals. It converts sound waves from a person's voice into electrical signals, which are then transmitted through wires or wirelessly to another telefon. The receiving telefon converts these signals back into sound, allowing the person on the other end to hear the speaker.
The invention of the telefon is attributed to Alexander Graham Bell, who was awarded the first US patent for it in 1876. Since then, telephones have evolved significantly, leading to the development of mobile phones and smartphones, which offer additional features beyond voice communication.
