team racing
Team racing is a competitive format in which groups of sailors work together to outmaneuver and outscore their opponents. Each team typically consists of two to five boats, and the goal is to finish with the lowest combined score based on the finishing positions of the team members.
In team racing, points are awarded based on the order in which boats cross the finish line. The first boat earns one point, the second two points, and so on. The team with the lowest total points at the end of the race wins, emphasizing strategy, teamwork, and communication among team members.
