sperm whale
The sperm whale is the largest toothed whale, known for its distinctive block-shaped head. Adult males can reach lengths of up to 20.5 meters (67 feet) and weigh as much as 57,000 kilograms (125,000 pounds). They are deep divers, capable of reaching depths of over 2,000 meters (6,600 feet) in search of squid, their primary food source.
Sperm whales are social animals, often found in groups called pods, which typically consist of females and their young. They communicate using a series of clicks and whistles, and their unique echolocation abilities help them navigate and hunt in the dark depths of the ocean.
