sand foxes
Sand foxes, also known as fennec foxes, are small nocturnal mammals native to the deserts of North Africa. They are easily recognized by their large ears, which help dissipate heat and enhance their hearing. Sand foxes have a sandy-colored coat that provides excellent camouflage in their arid environment.
These foxes primarily feed on insects, small rodents, and fruits. They are well-adapted to their harsh habitat, able to survive with little water by obtaining moisture from their food. Sand foxes are social animals, often living in family groups and communicating through a variety of vocalizations.
