sand fox
The sand fox, also known as the fennec fox, is a small nocturnal mammal native to the deserts of North Africa. It is easily recognized by its large ears, which help dissipate heat and enhance its hearing. The sand fox has a sandy-colored coat that provides excellent camouflage in its arid environment.
These foxes primarily feed on insects, small rodents, and fruits. They are well-adapted to desert life, able to survive with little water by obtaining moisture from their food. Sand foxes are social animals, often living in family groups and communicating through a variety of vocalizations.
