reformed epistemology
Reformed epistemology is a philosophical approach that argues belief in God can be rational and justified without requiring evidence or arguments. It suggests that certain beliefs, like faith in God, can be considered "properly basic," meaning they are foundational and do not need external justification.
This perspective was notably developed by philosophers such as Alvin Plantinga and Nicholas Wolterstorff. They contend that just as we accept beliefs about the external world or other minds without proof, belief in God can also be a basic belief grounded in personal experience and intuition.
