ra (Sun)
Ra is the ancient Egyptian god of the sun, often considered one of the most important deities in Egyptian mythology. He is typically depicted as a man with a falcon head, crowned with a sun disk. Ra was believed to travel across the sky in a solar boat, bringing light and warmth to the world.
In addition to being the sun god, Ra was associated with creation and life. Egyptians believed that he was born each morning and died each night, symbolizing the cycle of life and death. His influence extended to various aspects of daily life, including agriculture and timekeeping.
