prosauropods
Prosauropods were a group of early herbivorous dinosaurs that lived during the Late Triassic to Early Jurassic periods. They were characterized by their long necks, small heads, and large bodies, which allowed them to reach high vegetation. Prosauropods are considered ancestors to the more advanced sauropods, like Brachiosaurus and Diplodocus.
These dinosaurs were primarily bipedal but could also walk on all fours. They had a unique dental structure with flat teeth suited for grinding plant material. Prosauropods played a significant role in their ecosystems, helping to shape the vegetation and influencing the evolution of later dinosaur species.
