pool balls
Pool balls are small, spherical objects used in the game of pool, a popular cue sport. Typically made of resin, each ball has a specific color and number, with the standard set consisting of 16 balls: 15 object balls and one cue ball. The object balls are numbered from 1 to 15 and are divided into two categories: solids (1-7) and stripes (9-15).
The cue ball, usually white, is the ball that players strike with a cue stick to hit the object balls. The game is played on a rectangular table covered with felt and surrounded by cushioned rails. Players aim to pocket the object balls in designated pockets using skillful shots.
