incarnation (Rebirth)
Incarnation, often referred to as rebirth, is the belief that a soul or spirit can begin a new life in a different body after death. This concept is central to several religions, including Hinduism and Buddhism, where it is seen as a cycle of life, death, and rebirth known as samsara. The actions in one's past lives, or karma, influence the circumstances of future incarnations.
In this belief system, the ultimate goal is to achieve moksha or liberation from the cycle of rebirth. This liberation allows the soul to unite with the divine or attain a state of eternal peace. Different cultures interpret the process and significance of incarnation in various ways, but the core idea remains the same.
