ice sledge hockey
Ice sledge hockey is a team sport played on ice, similar to traditional ice hockey, but designed for athletes with physical disabilities. Players use specially designed sledges that allow them to glide on the ice while using two sticks to control the puck and propel themselves. Each sledge has a seat and is equipped with metal blades for stability and speed.
The game is played on a standard ice rink, with two teams competing to score goals. Each team consists of up to 15 players, including a goalie. Ice sledge hockey is governed by the International Paralympic Committee and is featured in the Paralympic Games.
