hair transplants
A hair transplant is a surgical procedure that involves moving hair follicles from one part of the body, usually the back of the scalp, to areas experiencing hair loss. This technique is commonly used to treat conditions like androgenetic alopecia, also known as male or female pattern baldness.
The two main methods of hair transplantation are FUT (Follicular Unit Transplantation) and FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction). In FUT, a strip of skin with hair is removed and divided into grafts, while FUE involves extracting individual hair follicles directly. Both methods aim to restore a natural-looking hairline and improve overall hair density.
