cyclops
A cyclops is a mythical creature from ancient Greek mythology, known for having a single eye in the center of its forehead. These giant beings are often depicted as strong and fierce, living in remote areas. The most famous cyclops is Polyphemus, who appears in Homer's epic poem, the Odyssey.
In art and literature, cyclopes are often portrayed as brutish and uncivilized, but they also possess great strength and craftsmanship. They are sometimes associated with the forging of weapons for the gods, particularly in the stories surrounding Hephaestus, the god of blacksmiths and fire.
