blue giant
A blue giant is a type of massive star that is much larger and hotter than our Sun. These stars have a surface temperature exceeding 10,000 degrees Celsius and emit a bright blue light. They are typically more than 10 times the mass of the Sun and can be found in various stages of their life cycle, often in star-forming regions of galaxies.
Due to their immense size and energy output, blue giants have relatively short lifespans, usually lasting only a few million years. They eventually exhaust their nuclear fuel and may end their lives in spectacular explosions known as supernovae, leaving behind neutron stars or black holes.
