backgammon
Backgammon is a two-player board game that combines elements of strategy and luck. Each player has 15 pieces, called checkers, which they move around a board divided into 24 triangular points. The objective is to move all your checkers into your home board and then bear them off before your opponent does.
Players take turns rolling two dice to determine how many points they can move their checkers. If a player lands on a point occupied by a single opponent's checker, they can hit it, sending it to the bar. The game ends when one player successfully bears off all their checkers.
