baby eagle
A baby eagle, also known as an eaglet, is the young offspring of a bald eagle or golden eagle. Eaglets are typically hatched from eggs after an incubation period of about 35 days. At birth, they are covered in soft down feathers and are dependent on their parents for food and protection.
As they grow, eaglets develop stronger feathers and begin to learn essential skills like flying and hunting. They usually fledge, or leave the nest, at around 10 to 12 weeks old. During this time, they are taught by their parents how to survive in the wild.
