Zulu people
The Zulu people are an ethnic group from South Africa, primarily found in the province of KwaZulu-Natal. They are known for their rich cultural heritage, including traditional music, dance, and vibrant beadwork. The Zulu language, called isiZulu, is one of the official languages of South Africa and is widely spoken among the Zulu community.
Historically, the Zulu were a powerful nation under the leadership of King Shaka Zulu in the early 19th century. They played a significant role in the region's history, particularly during the Anglo-Zulu War in 1879. Today, the Zulu people continue to celebrate their traditions while also engaging in modern South African society.
