Zoroastrian belief
Zoroastrianism is one of the world's oldest monotheistic religions, founded by the prophet Zoroaster in ancient Persia. Central to its belief system is the concept of Ahura Mazda, the supreme god who represents truth and goodness. Followers believe in a cosmic struggle between Ahura Mazda and Angra Mainyu, the spirit of evil, emphasizing the importance of individual choice in promoting good thoughts, words, and deeds.
Zoroastrians also believe in the afterlife, where souls are judged based on their actions during life. The righteous are rewarded with eternal happiness, while the wicked face punishment. Rituals, such as the sacred fire worship, play a significant role in their practices, symbolizing purity and the presence of Ahura Mazda.
