Zorastrianism
Zoroastrianism is one of the world's oldest monotheistic religions, founded by the prophet Zoroaster in ancient Persia around the 6th century BCE. It centers on the worship of Ahura Mazda, the supreme god, who represents truth and goodness. Followers believe in the duality of good and evil, emphasizing the importance of individual choice in promoting good thoughts, words, and deeds.
The religion's sacred text is the Avesta, which contains hymns, rituals, and teachings. Zoroastrianism has influenced other major religions, including Judaism, Christianity, and Islam, particularly in concepts of heaven, hell, and the final judgment.
