Zhuque
Zhuque, also known as the Vermilion Bird, is one of the Four Symbols in Chinese mythology. It represents the southern direction and is associated with fire, summer, and the element of heat. Often depicted as a beautiful red bird, Zhuque symbolizes prosperity and good fortune.
In traditional Chinese culture, Zhuque is linked to the concept of balance in nature, complementing other symbols like Qinglong (the Azure Dragon), Baihu (the White Tiger), and Xuanwu (the Black Tortoise). Together, these symbols embody the harmony of the four cardinal directions and the elements they represent.
