Zhang Ailing
Zhang Ailing, also known as Eileen Chang, was a prominent Chinese writer born on September 30, 1920, in Shanghai. She is best known for her novels, short stories, and essays that explore themes of love, loss, and the complexities of human relationships. Her unique writing style combines realism with a deep psychological insight, making her works resonate with readers.
Zhang's literary career flourished in the mid-20th century, particularly during the 1940s and 1950s.
