Zebra Dove
The Zebra Dove (Geopelia striata) is a small bird native to Southeast Asia and the Pacific Islands. It is easily recognized by its slender body, long tail, and distinctive striped pattern on its neck and wings. The dove typically measures about 25 to 30 centimeters in length and has a soft, cooing call that is often heard in urban areas.
Zebra Doves prefer open habitats, such as gardens, parks, and agricultural fields. They primarily feed on seeds, grains, and small insects. These birds are social and often seen in pairs or small groups, making them a common sight in many regions where they inhabit, including cities and rural areas.
