Zealot
A "zealot" refers to a person who is fervently passionate and uncompromising in their beliefs, often to an extreme degree. This term is commonly associated with individuals who advocate for a particular ideology, religion, or cause, sometimes leading to intense actions or behaviors in support of their views.
Historically, the term originates from the Zealots, a Jewish political movement in the first century that resisted Roman rule in Judea. Today, "zealot" can describe anyone who exhibits excessive enthusiasm or fanaticism, whether in politics, religion, or other areas of life.
