Zambian President
The Zambian President is the head of state and government in Zambia, a landlocked country in southern Africa. The President is elected by the citizens and serves a term of five years, with the possibility of re-election. The role includes overseeing the executive branch, implementing laws, and representing the country internationally.
As of October 2023, the current President is Hakainde Hichilema, who took office in August 2021. The President works alongside a cabinet of ministers and is responsible for addressing national issues such as economic development, healthcare, and education in Zambia.
