ZSU-23-4 Shilka
The ZSU-23-4 Shilka is a Soviet-designed self-propelled anti-aircraft gun system, first introduced in the 1960s. It features four 23mm autocannons mounted on a tracked chassis, allowing for mobility on the battlefield. The Shilka is designed to engage low-flying aircraft and can also provide ground support against infantry and light vehicles.
Equipped with radar for target acquisition and tracking, the Shilka can operate effectively in various weather conditions. Its combination of speed, firepower, and radar capabilities makes it a versatile asset for air defense, particularly during the Cold War and in various conflicts since then.
