Z1 Computer
The Z1 Computer, developed by Konrad Zuse in 1938, is considered one of the first programmable computers. It was a mechanical device that used electromechanical relays to perform calculations. The Z1 could execute simple arithmetic operations and was designed to be programmable using punched tape.
Although the Z1 was not fully reliable and had limitations, it laid the groundwork for future computing innovations. Zuse's work on the Z1 and subsequent computers contributed significantly to the development of modern computing technology, influencing later machines like the ENIAC and the UNIVAC.
