Youth Olympics
The Youth Olympics is an international multi-sport event for young athletes, typically aged 14 to 18. It is organized by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and aims to promote sports, education, and cultural exchange among youth from around the world. The event includes both summer and winter editions, featuring various sports similar to those in the traditional Olympic Games.
The first Youth Olympic Games took place in Singapore in 2010, and they have since been held every four years. Athletes compete not only for medals but also participate in educational programs that focus on the values of sportsmanship, teamwork, and healthy living.
