Yoshitsune Minamoto
Yoshitsune Minamoto was a prominent Japanese warrior and military leader during the late Heian period. Born in 1159, he is best known for his role in the Genpei War, where he fought against the Taira clan. His strategic brilliance and bravery led to significant victories, including the famous Battle of Dan-no-ura.
Despite his successes, Yoshitsune faced political challenges and conflicts with his half-brother, Yoritomo Minamoto, who became the first shogun of Japan.
