Yonge-University line
The Yonge-University line is a major subway line in Toronto, Canada. It runs from Vaughan Metropolitan Centre in the north to Union Station in the south, covering a distance of approximately 38 kilometers. This line is known for being one of the busiest in the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) system, serving thousands of passengers daily.
The line consists of two main branches: the Yonge line, which primarily runs north-south, and the University line, which connects to several key areas, including York University and the downtown core. Opened in stages starting in 1954, it has become a vital part of the city's public transportation network.
