A "Year" is a unit of time that represents the duration it takes for the Earth to complete one full orbit around the Sun. This period is approximately 365 days, but every four years, we add an extra day, known as a leap day, to account for the extra time it takes for the Earth to orbit. This is why we have a leap year every four years.
Years are often divided into months and seasons, helping us organize time for activities, holidays, and events. For example, a year typically starts on January 1st and ends on December 31st, marking the cycle of time that influences our daily lives and cultures.
