Yavapai County
Yavapai County is located in north-central Arizona and is known for its diverse landscapes, which include mountains, forests, and deserts. The county was established in 1864 and is named after the Yavapai people, a Native American tribe that originally inhabited the area. The county seat is Prescott, which is also one of the oldest towns in Arizona.
