Yasen-class Submarine
The Yasen-class submarine is a class of nuclear-powered attack submarines developed by Russia. Designed for anti-submarine warfare, intelligence gathering, and land-attack missions, these submarines are equipped with advanced stealth technology and a variety of weapon systems, including cruise missiles.
The first submarine of this class, the Severodvinsk, was launched in 2010. The Yasen-class features a unique hull design that enhances its underwater performance and reduces noise, making it difficult to detect. With a displacement of around 13,800 tons, it can operate at depths of over 600 meters and has a crew of approximately 90 personnel.
