Yara-ma-yha-who
The Yara-ma-yha-who is a creature from Australian Aboriginal mythology. It is often depicted as a small, red, frog-like being with a large head and long limbs. This mythical creature is known for its unique feeding habits, as it is said to consume its prey by sucking their blood.
According to the legends, the Yara-ma-yha-who waits in trees for unsuspecting travelers to pass by. Once they are close enough, it drops down and captures them. After feeding, it is believed that the creature allows its victims to escape, only to return later for another meal.
