Xingshu
Xingshu, also known as "running script," is a style of Chinese calligraphy that emphasizes speed and fluidity. It is characterized by its cursive strokes, allowing for quicker writing while maintaining legibility. This script is often used for informal writing and is popular among calligraphers for its artistic expression.
Developed during the Han Dynasty, Xingshu evolved from the more formal Kaishu (regular script) and is considered a bridge between Kaishu and the more abstract Cao Shu (grass script). Today, it is widely practiced in Chinese culture, both for personal expression and as an art form.
