Xavi Hernández, commonly known as Xavi, is a retired Spanish footballer and current football manager. Born on January 25, 1980, in Terrassa, Spain, he is widely regarded as one of the greatest midfielders in the history of the sport. Xavi spent the majority of his playing career at FC Barcelona, where he won numerous titles, including multiple UEFA Champions League and La Liga championships. After retiring from professional play in 2019, Xavi transitioned into coaching. He took over as the head coach of Al Sadd in Qatar before returning to FC Barcelona as manager in November 2021.
