X-ray imaging technology
X-ray imaging technology is a medical diagnostic tool that uses X-rays, a form of electromagnetic radiation, to create images of the inside of the body. When X-rays pass through the body, they are absorbed by different tissues at varying rates. Dense materials, like bones, appear white on the X-ray image, while softer tissues, such as muscles and organs, appear in shades of gray.
This technology is commonly used to detect fractures, infections, and tumors. Radiologists, specialists trained in interpreting X-ray images, analyze the results to help diagnose medical conditions and guide treatment decisions.
