Wudu
Wudu is a ritual washing performed by Muslims before prayer, known as Salah. It involves washing specific parts of the body, including the hands, mouth, nostrils, face, arms, head, and feet, in a particular order. This practice symbolizes physical and spiritual purity, preparing individuals to stand before Allah in prayer.
The process of Wudu is not only a physical cleansing but also a way to cultivate mindfulness and intention. It is typically performed using clean water, and if water is unavailable, alternatives like Tayammum (dry ablution) can be used. Observing Wudu is essential for the validity of the prayer.
